The Crunch

The Crunch

People are nowadays always “on”. Continuously we are digitally connected to each other . We are constantly in several places at once , but we ignore the ‘now’ . By ignoring the ‘now’ we create social alienation . We live in a rapidly changing technological world . Because we are constantly ‘on’ , we believe that we must respond directly to receive digital messages. The vibrations and beeps give us a sense of euphoria and provide an ego boost. To what extent are we still engaged in our current environment? It leads us. We become entrained in this stream , which protects us from the reality. It isolates us from the ‘now’ . We must have control over our technology , and not vice versa. Through the marketing and media we are forced to buy the latest technology what will make us “happier” and more “sociable”.

The Crunch is my graduation film.
